5 Chicago Airfares (Under $215) That Will Take You Straight to Warm Weather
We’ve got cabin fever. And the only cure is a vacation. Fortunately, we found five warm weather destinations with airfares that cost less than a new pair of designer denim. Ah, sweet relief.
Florida is the quintessential winter escape, and we prefer Miami for its mix of beaches, killer nightlife and culture. Take a break from all the sun and fun with an Art Deco walking tour, or visit the Wolfsonian design museum. We spotted some killer deals on Frontier, so check those out and fast.
New Orleans ($151)
Mardi Gras, anyone? Or if you’re not into Hurricane-chugging and bead-tossing, the food scene alone should suffice. And with a sub-$200 flight, you can afford all the beignets you could possibly eat.
Los Angeles ($177)
This United fare has us planning our perfect La La Land itinerary: visits to the Getty and Griffith Park Observatory, shopping at Shareen Vintage and cocktails and live music at Harvelle’s Blues Club. Also, Ryan Gosling.
Charleston’s got so much charm, there’s no need to plan a detailed itinerary. Fly American for a week of feasting on barbecue, strolling the cobblestones and taking in the historic 18th-century architecture from “Rainbow Row” to the Battery. Really, it’s as simple as that.
Las Vegas ($214)
What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but this Spirit deal doesn’t need to be kept a secret. Not when Sin City has a little fun for everyone. If gambling and clubbing aren’t your thing, then consider this: Britney, J.Lo and Elton John are all in town this spring.
